High Point Awards Program

Beginning in the 2020 competition year, all three shows produced by Mid-America will count for Double Points toward horses and riders enrolled for High Point Trophies.

Horses and riders MUST be enrolled with Mid-America Horse Show Association in order to compete for high point trophies during the competition season. 

 

Some basic things to remember:

 

  • For A Shows: Horses/riders must have placed 5th or better in one class at 4 MAHSA member shows. For a list of member shows, visit our Affiliated Shows page. 

  • For A Shows: At least 30 points must be earned to be eligible for championship high point trophies and at least 20 points must be earned to be eligible for reserve high point trophies.

  • For A Shows: Three and four year old horses are required to show and place 5th or better at 3 MAHSA member shows. 20 points are required for championship trophies and 15 are required for reserve. 

  • For A Shows: Two year olds are required to show and place 5th or better at 2 MAHSA member shows. 15 points are required for championship trophies and 10 points are required for reserve trophies.

  • For B Shows: Horses/riders must have placed 5th or better in at least one class at 3 MAHSA member shows. 15 points are required for championship trophies and 10 points are required for reserve.

Note: Points will not be awarded in classes which qualify/exclude entries such as Futurities, Shatner, Medallion, Novice, Limit, etc.
